    Notes

    The American Leprosy Mission (ALM), founded in 1906, is a nonprofit, Christian medical mission supporting more than 100 programs in approximately 20 countries. ALM provides anti-leprosy drugs, surgical intervention for disabilities, training of health workers, research, public information programs, and physical and vocational rehabilitation assistance. The Mission collaborates with member agencies of the International Federation of Anti-Leprosy Associations (ILEP) and Christian medical missions.
