    Notes

The Center for Research Libraries holds the Capuchin Missionary Archives (Archives du Vicariat apostolique des galas, érigé le 4 mai 1846). [S.l.: s.n., sd.]

The collection is on seven reels of microfilm and includes the correspondence and records of the mission at Harar. Records are in Amharic, French, Italian, or Latin.

This reference documents the work of the Capuchins at Harar where care of leprosy patients was carried out by Addis Ababa Leprosy Hospital, St. Antoine's in Harar, and which still exists today as a typical old leprosy village outside the city.

The catalogue entry for the collection is accessible here.
