Published report about leprosy in Valencia Province developed by Dr. Juan Bautista Peset y Vidal under the initiative of the Provincial Health Board in 1877. The report was presented to the Civil Governor and discussed in a scientific session of the Instituto Médico Valenciano.

It consists of 63 pages beginning with an historical approach, followed by an epidemiological and clinical study of about 25 Valencian populations. The statistical records contains the number of cases in each population and the number of deaths. It also discusses the etiology and treatment of leprosy in the transition period during which bacteriological principles were not still generally accepted.

Lepra en el Maestrazgo: manuscript undated ca. 1842, 8 pages. It was published in a medical journal: Boletín del Instituto Médico Valenciano, vol. I (1842), number 17, issues 1-2. The archive keeps two issues.

Lepra en el Maestrazgo:descripción de varios casos. Manuscript containing several clinical reports of leprosy patients checked by a experts medical commission sent by the Instituto Médico Valenciano to the area of el Maestrazgo, particularly the towns of Alcalá, Benicarló and Vinaroz, in the northern part of the province of Castellón. This report was later published as an article in the medical journal: Boletín del Instituto Médico Valenciano, vol. I (1843), number 24, pages 3-7.
