    Roland Chaussinand (1898-) was a French doctor and medical researcher whose primary focus in leprosy research concerned the possible role and promotion of the use of BCG (Bacillus Calmette–Guérin) as a vaccine. From 1931 to 1946 he worked for the Pasteur Institute in Saigon as director of the Leprosy Service and in 1946 he became the director of the Leprosy Service for the Pasteur Institute in Paris. At one point he was secretary for a Panel of Experts on Leprosy for the WHO.
