The History of Medicine Museum at the University of Zurich holds various artefacts which relate to the history of leprosy including: the old seal of the Linsenbuhl Hospital for 'incurable' leprosy patients, St Galen, 16th Century; an alms box (21.4cm x 16.5cm x 5.5cm) from the Bamberg Leper House with figures of St Anthony, St Lawrence and St Nicholas; a beggar's wooden plate and warning bell and rattle; wax moulages of 'rheumatic' leprosy of the hand and an advanced case of leprosy on a child's foot, artwork by Elizabeth Stoiber, India, 1963/64; a stained glass window depicting St Martin of Tours giving half his cloak to a leprosy patient which was commissioned by Canton Schwyz for the church in Maschwanden 1506 AD.
