    1939 Silver Jubilee Clinic, SaidapetThe Minutes of the Meeting of the Medical Committee of the Britsh Empire Leprosy Relief Association stated that "Mrs Barbara Todd, who did most valuable work in organising anti-leprosy work in Salem and work among children in the Madras Presidency, will return to India in the Autums to act as Superintendent of a new Children's Home to be erected at Saidapet.
