Unofficial information File C36-1-39 in the Suzhou Municipal Archives contains a report about a leprosy village in Suzhou (formerly Suzhow). On March 17, 1966, the Board of Health of Suzhow City sent a report to the People’s Committee concerning the conditions of people with the disease in this village, a series of problems that they come up against, suggestions to solve such difficulties, and several concrete questions.
